CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture of a thin liquid-quenched belt by quenching and solidifying a fused material by spraying it from nozzle 2 onto the internal circumferential surface of cooling drum 1 rotating at a high speed, rotary take-up drum 3 is provided away from the drop point of the fused material jetted from nozzle 2 as much as possible in contact with the internal circumferential surface of cooling drum 1 or at an extremely slight interval.
