Abstract:
The invention provides a method for producing tubular products such as pipes in continuous lengths by transversely deforming a strip (11) of material such as a thermoplastic around an internal support (10) so that its edges abut to form a tubular mandrel. Reinforcing material (20) is wound helically around the tubular mandrel which is arranged to be of slightly greater internal diameter than the support to enable it to be moved along the support.
