PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a V-ribbed belt with such advantages that no grinding step is required and no scrap dust is generated in the grinding step and further, the manhour is reduced, and a device using this method.
SOLUTION: As the steps of the method for manufacturing a V-ribbed belt, (1) a belt molded product 10 including at least a core and an outermost layer rubber is formed on a cylindrical molding tool 1, (2) the cylindrical molding tool 1 is installed, in a freely rotatable manner, on a molding base 11, (3) after this step, at least one ribbed groove molding tool 20 with a recessed part 21 and a projecting part 22 formed in the circumferential direction, is brought into contact with the outermost layer rubber 8 of a belt molded product, then a ribbed groove 32 is molded by thermally pressurizing the ribbed groove molding tool 20 and the cylindrical molding tool 1, while being rotated simultaneously and at the same time, the belt molded product 10 is vulcanized, and (4) the vulcanized molded product 10 is removed from the cylindrical molding tool 1 after the ribbed groove molding tool 20 is separated from the cylindrical molding tool 1.
