To provide a method for manufacturing a welded large diameter tube capable of eliminating disadvantages of the concept of a well-known equipment.
A device for performing a method for manufacturing a welded large diameter tube comprises an uncoiler (1) of a hot-rolled steel strip, a welding machine (2) to manufacture a steel strip weld seam, a pair of two-step double rolls (3) to level the hot-rolled steel strip in the horizontal direction, a multiple roll leveler (4) to level the hot-rolled steel strip in the longitudinal direction, ultrasonic steel strip test equipment (5), steel strip edge working equipment (6), steel strip edge pre-bender (11), a tube forming equipment (12), laser welding equipment (14), photo-optical on-line process diagnosis systems (17 and 17') for welding process, a measurement instrument (18) for inspecting the diameter of a welded tube, a photo-optical seam detection system (19) for inner and outer seams, an evaluation unit (20) for computer-tomographic image pickup test, and an ultrasonic test apparatus (21) for weld seam.
