Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simple application of a marking on the whole periphery of a long object regaradless of the feed of the long substance and to simplify removal of a marking after its purpose is achieved.
SOLUTION: An annular resilient object 5 having the free length of a periphery being shorter than the outer periphery of a long substance 1 is expanded and held, in such a state to surround the long substance 1, at a support body 4 having an insertion port 3 through which the long substance 1 running in a longitudinal direction is inserted. A resilient substance holding release mechanism 7 is provided to release the annular resilient object 5 from a holding state through operation of a drive means and wind the annular resilient object 5 around the outer periphery of the long substance 15 by contracting it through the restoration force thereof.
