Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for measuring concentration where accuracy/ degree of certainty, sensitivity, reproducibility, stability, and reliability are superb, no blank compensation is needed, and need for maintenance can be minimized and obtain a device for measuring concentration for facilitating formation of units and modules and miniaturization.
CONSTITUTION: A drive device 18 displaces a separator window 12 between a cell 3 in sample system and a cell 4 in reference system in parallel. An operation device 11 detects the signal of absorbance difference which is proportional to the concentration difference between the cell 3 in sample system and the cell 4 in reference system and at the same time calculates the concentration of the cell 3 in sample system from the signal of the absorbance difference, the concentration of the cell 4 in reference system whose concentration is known, and an amount of displacement Δb of the separator window 12.
