Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and device for measuring the moisture of sludge for accurately measuring the moisture of the sludge with respect to time passage in a drying process without taking the sludge out of the container.
SOLUTION: In a method for drying sludge in a container 14 and for measuring the moisture of sludge in a drying process, an exhaust port 20 for unloading air in the container 14 is provided and at the same time, a container 14 can be nearly freely closed, the container 14 is retained nearly in a closed state after throwing the sludge into the container 14, steam for heating the sludge is supplied to the surrounding of the container 14, heat is exchanged via the container 14 for drying the sludge in the container 14, and at the same time, one portion of the steam is condensed, the amount of generated drain being condensed via the container 14 is measured, and at the same time the amount of water of the sludge being evaporated by drying based on the amount of generated and measured drain is calculated, thus obtaining the moisture of the sludge in the container 14.
