PURPOSE: To fix a tire to a rim ring positively by clamping the tire to be inspected between a rim ring half body and a bead housing ring that runs from the outside in axial direction for the ring half body.

CONSTITUTION: A tire 17 to be inspected is warped in a trapezoid for inspection. Rim ring bodies 12 and 13 run so that they are separated each other and a bead housing ring 15 runs from the outside of the tire 17 in axial direction for a bead 18. In that case, the bead 18 is bent toward the inside in axial direction from the bead housing ring 15 and is pressed against a ring seating position. The bead housing ring 15 has a bead seating surface 16 and the rim ring half bodies 12 and 13 have an inner circular plate 25 and a cylindrical rim head part 14 so that the bead 18 of the tire 17 can be fixed between the half bodies 12 and 13 and the ring 15.
