PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for working, to decrease required energy and to simplify the device by pressing a member to be worked to a metal mold via a film body or directly by a liquid pressure or elastical pressure and simultaneously subjecting the member to molding and blanking.
CONSTITUTION: The metal mold 16 supporting the member P which is to be worked and is subjected to the pressure via the film body or directly is housed in a working chamber 13. A recessed part 16A having a blade-shaped edge for blanking is formed on the surface of the metal mold. Then, the pressure obtd. by detonation is converged to a high-pressure impact pressure which is then propagated to a pressure chamber 12. This pressure arrives at the member P to be worked through the pressure medium. The member P to be worked is thrust away by receiving this high-pressure impact pressure and is molded along the metal mold surface; in succession, the member is subjected to blanking by the blade-shaped edge part 16A of the recessed part. Since explosives are not used, the device which is not restricted in setting is obtd. Handling of the work, etc., is facilitated in the system of transmitting pressure waves via the film body.
