Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for monitoring pulverized coal blowing condition that can determine accurately the pulverized coal blowing condition.SOLUTION: In the blowing condition monitoring process according to one embodiment of the present invention, a large-area setting unit 77a sets a large area in the image of a raceway so as to include a tip part of a lance appearing in the captured image, and a small-area dividing unit 77b divides the large area into small areas with a rectangle having a side equal to or less than the number of pixels corresponding to a width of the tip part of the lance as a unit. A representative luminance measurement unit 77c detects the representative luminance of the small area. A blow shape detecting unit 77d detects the blowing shape of pulverized coal from the representative luminance. A diffusion degree detecting unit 77e calculates the degree of diffusion of the pulverized coal from the blowing shape of the pulverized coal. A blowing condition detecting unit 77f detects the blowing condition of the pulverized coal from the degree of diffusion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
