Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to preliminary adjust respective parts of a recorder before being brought into contact with upper and lower jaws, by arranging a support member in a holding member in such a state as being parallel to or coincided with a plane related to the cranial bone or the upper/lower jaws and adjusting a part of the fixed recorder to the related plane without using an additional adjusting device. CONSTITUTION: The method for attaching and adjusting a recorder for the movement of jaw is constituted so that a holding member is fixed to the cranial bone or a part for supporting the cranial bone, the holding member 1 is set to a part of a recorder as a rigid structure, the recorder is adjusted by joint mechanisms 5a, 5b, and the recorder is connected to the cranial bone or the upper jaw and the lower jaw. A support members 3 is arranged in the holding member 1 in such a state as being parallel to or coincided with the plane related to the cranial bone or the upper and lower jaws and the part of the recorder fixed to the support member 3 is adjusted to the related plane without any use of an additional adjusting device. This constitution can easily and quickly adjust and attach the recorder.
