PURPOSE: To use a simple structure and yet open a bag at the opening to the widest size possible and prevent the bag from slipping off the hold by a method wherein a pair of sliding levers for opening a bag-opening wide and holding it open, provided to a movable bucket, are inserted into a bag through its opening and moved outward by an air cylinder to open the bag wide at the opening and hold the bag open.
CONSTITUTION: Levers for opening a bag-opening wide and holding it open 4, 4 of a bucket are inserted through the opening into a suitably opened bag A. By sending air into air cylinders 8 through a check valve and a switching valve 11a one opening-and-holding lever-holding board 5 attached to the forward end of a piston rod is moved outward of the middle of the bucket. Simultaneously, with the interposition of a rotary body 6 and a wire rope 7, another opening- and-holding lever-holding board 5 is also moved relatively outward so that the levers for opening a bag-opening wide and holding it open 4, jointly open the bag wide at the opening and hold the bag open. The pressure of the air fed to the air cylinders 8 is set at a value preliminarily calculated from the degrees of the opening of the levers for opening a bag-opening wide and holding it open 4, 4, the weight of the contents of the bag A, etc.
