Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to easily remove a osteochondro-bone from a tubular cutter, by guiding a pin with a collar into a tubular cutter, putting the tip end of the tubular cutter to a selected site on an articulation, and pushing the tubular cutter into a sub-cartilage bone substance to form a osteochondro-core.
SOLUTION: A donor.graft.harvester 2 is completely inserted into and mounted on a harvester driver/drawer 34, the tip end is put to a hyaline cartilage harvest site 55, and the harvester 2 is hit by a small hammer 58 to be guided into a sub-cartilage bone substance. Then, a cannula with a slot is drawn back along the shaft of the tubular harvester and is removed via the slot, the driver/drawer 34 is clockwise and counterclockwise rotated and then swing up and down a sponge base (tissue) is broken to remove the osteochondro-bone core, and the harvested core is captured into the tubular body of the donor.graft.harvester 2.
