PURPOSE: To eliminate the waste of a paint and to decrease man-hour for working by rotating an article which is to be coated and has a concave part, maintaining the space in the concave part under negative pressure, sucking up the paint and coating the paint to the article.
CONSTITUTION: A reversible motor 3 is rotated in one way and a supporting member 7 is risen by means of a belt 10 and screw 8 intervened between the motor and siad member in the stage of painting a concave article to be coated. A disc wheel W which is the article to be coated is then bolted 18 to the bottom end of a revolving shaft 14 in such a way that the concave part Wa of the wheel W is held downward to face the liquid surface Ma of a paint. The motor 3 is then rotated in the othr direction to lower the member 7, thereby forming a space A between the end edge of the part Wa and th surface Ma. A negative pressure is then generated in this space to suck up the paint M. The wasting of paint is thus prevented.
