METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PLANNING

PURPOSE: To obtain a method which performs optimum planning fast for a given problem through a simple constitution by using a computer high-level language such as a C language and using only a process which can be descirbed almost in one line as repetitive processes for a population in one generation.
CONSTITUTION: For the constitution of, for example, heritable planning, target function values for chromosomes of plans which are made by a predetermined quantity are calculated and the values are regarded as evaluated values of the plans (A). All the plans are rearranged (B) in the decreasing order of the evaluated values. A new individual is generated by operation such as partial alteration of a parent individual or alteration of rearrangement and the degree of variation of the target function of the altered part is calculated and added to the evaluated value of the parent individual which is already found to determine the evaluated value of a slave solid body (C). A parent individual group and an offspring individual group are rearranged in the decreasing order of the evaluated values that the respective solid bodies have (D). The operation is repeated as many times as predetermined and the individual having the largest evaluated value, i.e., plan is output finally.
