PURPOSE: To minimize positional deviation of metallic wire by energizing the wire in the longitudinal direction, energizing a fixed conductor parallel to this wire in the direction reverse to the electric current to the wire and adjusting the current valve of the fixed conductor to make a distance fixed between the wire and the fixed conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic filed due to the current of a fixed conductor is exerted on a metallic wire in the direction vertically crossing the extending direction of the wire. An electromagnetic force in the direction away from the fixed conductor, i.e., a repulsive force is exerted on the wire by the operation of this magnetic field and the current of the wire in accordance with the Fleming's left hand rule. Since the current of the fixed conductor is adjusted so as to make a distance fixed between the wire and the fixed conductor, the positional deviation of the wire is minimized. In other words, the positional deviation of the wire is suppressed through non-contact. The fixed conductor is a metallic tube 36G, inside which the wire 30 is put through; therefore, a repulsive force directing to the center axis of the metallic tube 36G is exerted on the wire 30. The position of the wire 30 is detected by an image camera 3 on the opposite side of a fluorescent light 2, and the data is supplied to a control circuit.
