Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR POURING MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6238756
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute stable pouring even when a nozzle having a small inside diameter without trouble such as nozzle clogging by melting a material in a main melting crucible then melting the material in an auxiliary melting crucible provided in the lower part of said crucible so that the molten materials discharged from a pouring nozzle in the lower part of the auxiliary melting crucible.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic material is put into both of the main melting crucible 1 and the auxiliary melting crucible 4 and first a high-frequency coil 2 is energized to thoroughly melt the material in the material in the crucible 1; thereafter a high-frequency coil 6 is energized to quickly heat and melt the material in the crucible 4. The molten metal is discharged from the poring nozzle 5 provided in the bottom of the crucible 4. The material in the crucible 4 is preferably melted by high-frequency induction heating.
