Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate preparation for paper roll refill by a simple form during operation, by contacting a damaged paper roll to a replacement one, cutting a sheet start end part along another perforation by the relative movement between the refill paper roll and the damaged one, and then removing a taken-up damaged paper after each process cycle.
CONSTITUTION: A damaged paper roll 2 where a damaged sheet is wound is allowed to contact the perimeter of a refill paper roll 1, and a drive roller 21 is put in a driven state to stop the refill paper roll 1, so that the oppositional movement of the damaged paper roll 2 from the refill paper roll 1 brings a sheet start end part 3 to a process position. Then a press-fitting roller 18 is moved parallel to the axial line of the refill paper roll 1, forming perforations 4 and 5 with the press-fitting roller 18. A fixing bond coating device 20 forms a fixing bond coat layer on the rear surface of a sheet while a connecting bond coating device 23 a connecting bond coat layer on the front surface of it. Then the sheet start end part is press-fitted and bonded to the refill paper roll 1 by the damaged paper roll 2.
