PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a dimensional precision and a roundness of inner/outer diameters by mounting a prerounded part to a core bar, approaching a press die divided into a specified number and pressing the prerounded part between a core bar and a press die.
SOLUTION: A press die is divided into three dies or more and consists of sectional dies 46, 48 and a movable die 60. A prerounded part 28 is mounted to a core bar 64. When descending the movable die 60, the movable die 60 is abutted on the prerounded part 28 mounted to the core bar 64. By further descending the movable die 60, the prerounded part 28 pushes down the sectional dies 46, 48. The sectional dies 46, 48 are descended along V shaped groove side walls 44a, 44b and approaches each other. The prerounded part 28 is pressed between the movable die 60, the sectional dies 46, 48 and the core bar 64. The prerounded part 28 is pressed with uniform pressing force, buckling is not generated at a part formed with a groove hole, sufficient butting force is obtained in butting end edges.
