To provide a crossing device for resolving the problem of noise around a crossing and assuring safety when trains pass.

The crossing device includes an alarm 11, a crossing gate 12, an approach sensor 13 for sensing the approach of a train and then sending an operation signal for operating the alarm 11 and the crossing gate 12, and a passage sensor 14 for sensing the passage of the train and then sending a reset signal to reset the alarm 11 and the crossing gate 12 into stopping states. The crossing device is provided with a sound volume control device 15 for controlling the sound volume of the alarm 11, a fall sensor 16 for sensing the arrival of the passage regulating rod of the crossing gate 11 at the lowest position and then sending an actuation signal to the sound volume control device 15, and an alarm lamp 17 attached to the passage regulating rod of the crossing gate 11. A lighting indicator 18 sending a lighting signal to light the alarm lamp 17 is attached to the fall sensor 16.
