Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reception through a communication path at low cost by performing the processing of filtering and mixing while combining plural signals, and generating an output signal as the function of 4th and 2nd signals. SOLUTION: An input signal and a 1st mixture signal are mixed, a 1st signal at the 1st intermediate frequency (IF) of non-zero frequency is generated and filtered. Then, the 1st signal and a 2nd mixture signal are mixed, and the 2nd signal at a 2nd IF higher than the 1st IF is generated. Next, the input signal and a 3rd mixture signal orthogonal with the 1st mixture signal are mixed, a 3rd signal is generated and filtered. This 3rd signal, the 2nd mixture signal and a 4th mixture signal orthogonal with the 2nd mixture signal are mixed, and the 4th signal at the 2nd IF is generated. Finally, the output signal is generated as the function of the 4th and 2nd signals.
