Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the terminal processing cycle time for a shielded wire P and downsize a device thereof.
SOLUTION: In processing the terminal of a shielded wire P formed by coating an insulated wire with braid and then with an envelope, the diameter of the braid of the terminal on which the envelope is peeled is increased by a diameter increasing unit 18, the braid whose diameter is increased is reversed to the envelope side by a reversing unit 19, and its exposed insulating coating is peeled by a peeling unit 20. The respective units 19,...are fixed, and the shielded wire P is 180° rotated by a motor 36 around its axial line. By the rotation of the shielded wire P, the respective units can be fixed, its device itself can be downsized more than by the rotation of a disc on which the respective units are mounted, and the rotation become smoother, thereby reducing processing cycle time.
