Abstract:
To provide a method and device for producing a bundle of steel bars of an arbitrary specific length in a continuous rolling work line.
In the method of producing a steel bar cut to length as ordered by a customer, the steel bar 12 of a continuous length is produced by a rolling device 11, the steel bar 12 of the continuous length is cut to length equal to the steel bar length ordered by the customer while producing the steel bar 12 of the continuous length by the rolling device 11, and one of two bundling stations 24a, 24b arranged to accept and bundle the cut steel bars 14 is used to bundle the steel bars 14 of the length ordered by the customer which are discharged from the rolling device 11.
