To provide a method and a device for producing a cylindrical component with a bend, wherein the full length accuracy and edge face plane shape of the cylindrical component after working can be formed with high precision, and further, the generation of scrap can be prevented and the working process can be shortened.
A preforming roll 4 having a pressing face 41 with a projecting shape is made to progress and is pressed against the outer circumferential face of a cylindrical work 1A rotating in a state of being chucked by a pair of dies 2, 3 and with axial thrust applied, and the outer circumferential face of the work is bent to the inner direction to the radial direction. Thereafter, the work is pinched by the preforming roll and top and bottom molds. Subsequently, the preforming roll is retreated, and the work is crushed to the axial direction, so as to form a bent part 1a. Subsequently, a forming roll is pressed to form the external shape of the work. Next, a grooved roll 6 is pressed against the outer circumferential face of the work, and a groove 1b is formed on the outer circumferential face thereof.
