Abstract:

To produce a photographic film unit having an image frame related to encoded data by supplying a film piece where data concerning the image frame is encoded, correlating each data unit and each image frame and recording the data unit on the film piece again.

The film piece 12 which has plural image frames and where the data concerning the respective image frames is encoded is supplied. Namely, the film piece 12 having plural film frames 14 provided with optical information is supplied. One or more areas framing the film frame 14 are provided with the information encoded magnetically or optically or in both manners. The encoded data is read, the image frame is arranged, and the data unit is discriminated. Then, each data unit and each image frame are correlated, and the data unit is recorded on the film piece 12 physically related to each image frame again.
