Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a toner having a sharp grain size distribution with high pulverizing efficiency and high classification yield.
CONSTITUTION: The pulverized material for a toner is classified by a first classifying means into a coarse powder and a fine powder. The coarse powder is pulverized by a collision-type flash crusher to form a fine powder which is circulated to the first classifying means, and the fine powder is classified by a second classifying means to produce a toner having a specified grain diameter. The pulverizing means is provided with a tube 1 for conveying and accelerating the coarse powder and a pulverizing chamber 5 furnished with a collision member 4.
