Abstract:
To continuously produce a tube of a polygon and closed state in viewing at a cross section orthogonal to a strip feeding direction, further to obtain a tube not brittle due to metal fatigue and to surely have a good precision.
The device forms a notch 14, which is extended in a pitch corresponding to a length of a tube W1 and in a width direction, to a strip (work) W. Further, a connected part 15 of the tube W is cut by shearing at an outlet of the device, a mandrel is fixed to a die main body so as to absorb the moment acted to itself.
