PURPOSE: To efficiently produce industrial products of high precision and high reliability by cooperation with CAD data.
CONSTITUTION: In an FA system, parts after a material processing stage 8, parts after a processed parts assembling stage 10, and products after a parts overall assembling stage 12 are checked in parts check stages 9 and 11 and a product check stage 13 respectively. These check result information are used to maintain the precision of the material processing stage 8, the processed parts assembling stage 10, and the parts overall assembling stage 12 because being fed back to these stages 8, 10, and 12. Information of a check result 15 is transmitted to a higher-order CAS system also and is used for evaluation of the validity of processing precision design of parts, assembling precision design of parts, and form precision design of products. It is used for evaluation of the reliability of products also.
