Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the safe performance of vehicle operations which can evaluate the safety of an initial response at a steep turn or behaviors in a limitation area.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: inputting a specific steering angle in straight driving and acquiring time-series data of a yaw moment Mz and a lateral acceleration Ay generated in a vehicle after the input (ST1); and acquiring at least one of the maximum value of the yaw moment Mz and the value of the yaw moment Mz when the lateral acceleration Ay is the largest in the time-series data as the evaluation value of the vehicle operation safe performance (ST3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
