Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce the sequence programs of various types of programmable controllers with a single programming device. CONSTITUTION:An input means 41 is provided for input of a source program together with the means 40 and 47 which perform the grammatical check and the conversion into a sequence program in regard of a prescribed instruction contained in the source program, a means 43 which reads the grammatical check information and the information on conversion into the sequence program from the outside in regard of the instructions excluding the prescribed one, a storage means 42 which stores both types of information read by the means 43 in the form of a table, both means 40 and 47 which perform the grammatical check and the conversion into a sequence program by reference to the contents of table for the instructions excluding the prescribed one, and a transfer means 45 which transfers the produced sequence program to a programmable controller.
