To efficiently recover a particular element contained in a salt.
A method comprises the steps of dissolving in a dissolving tank 4 a salt 1a containing a particular element (for example, uranium) to be recovered, mixing a mixed fluid 2, consisting of carbon dioxide in the supercritical condition and an organic extraction reagent capable of taking in the particular element in a reaction tank 5, with a dissolved salt 1b from the dissolving tank 4, thus allowing the organic extraction reagent contained in the mixed fluid 2 to take in the particular element from the dissolved salt 1b, separating the mixed fluid 2 that has taken in the particular element in a separating tank 6, followed by cleaning with an inorganic detergent 3 in a cleaning tower 9 to allow the inorganic detergent 3 to take in the particular element from the mixed fluid 2, and recovering the particular element from the salt 1a. Further, the mixed fluid 2 from which the particular element to be recovered has been removed in the cleaning tower 9 is fed again into the reaction tank 5 to be repetitively used for taking in the particular element from the dissolved salt 1b.
