Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a rolling sheet from producing camber by subjecting the rolling sheet to light rolling reduction after rolling the sheet at different speeds to eliminate its residual stress.
CONSTITUTION: A residual-stress redressing roll 5 is provided to the outletside position of the rolling rolls 1, 2 of a different-speeds rolling mill. A rolling sheet 4 after different-speeds rolling is subjected to light rolling reduction, to smooth the residual stress of the sheet 4 delivered from the mill. Thus the sheet 4 is prevented from producing camber at the succeeding stage.
