Abstract:

SOLUTION: Before a can body is worked in registering to a printed design printed on the outer face of the can body beforehand, respective cans 2 continuously transferred at a random state of a printed design position are rotated in the circumferential direction of the can body at a high speed and then a can rotation speed is lowered to a low speed at the timing a large mark L printed on the can body is detected by a sensor 14, successively, rotation of the can body 2 is stopped at the timing a small mark S printed on the can body is detected, registration of the printed design is performed.
