To provide a method and a device for rotary screen printing which makes it possible to register with accuracy at multicolor printing even at a low speed printing and register without any rubbing of printed image at correcting a registering error.
A cylindrical screen plate 5 having a squeegee S on an inside is rotated continuously and simultaneously with a base material 1 to be printed and printing is performed with ink on the base material 1 through the cylindrical screen plate 5. In printing an n-th color pattern, a position in the rotating direction is corrected based on an amount of shift by measuring the amount of shift between a standard repeating position on a registering controlling program of a position of a mark sensor of a first color-coated pattern 4 and changing rapidly and temporarily a rotating speed of the cylindrical screen plate 5 before the n-th color pattern 3 is printed, while keeping a distance between the first color-coated pattern 4 in a reproducible state of a pattern pitch of the cylindrical screen plate 5.
