Abstract:
The apparatus serves for pivoting to and fro a spray nozzle (6) which is connected to a spray hose (7). With the aid of a pivoting motor (9), the holder for supporting the spray nozzle (6) can be pivoted to and fro about a pivot axis (10). The pivoting motor (9) is connected to working lines (21, 22) in each of which is arranged an overpressure compensation valve (29, 30). These overpressure compensation valves (29, 30) have the purpose of preventing an acceleration of the pivoting movement under the weight of the spray hose (7). As a result of this, an automatic control of the pivoting speed is obtained. A pivot control unit is further provided which optionally serves for automatically or manually controlled pivoting of the spray nozzle (6). With this apparatus, the desired pivoting movement of the spray nozzle (6) can be achieved simply and effectively. A uniform coating with the medium applied is thus obtained.
