Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for rounding the tip of a soft resin tube capable of uniformly rounding the tip without requiring a man-power and forming an any round shape.
SOLUTION: An abrasive means 10 comprising an endless belt 16 with abrasive material 16a disposed thereon wound across driven rollers 12 and 12 and a drive roller 14 and formed so that the upper surface of the endless belt 16 is linearly moved in horizontal direction when the drive roller 14 is drivingly rotated, a pedestal 20 supporting the polishing means 10 and rotated integrally with the polishing means 10 as a rotating center shaft, generally about the vertical center point of the endless belt 16, and a tube holding means 30 disposed on the upper side of the polishing means 10, holdingly raising and lowering the soft resin tube 40, and allowing the tip part of the tube to abut on and separate from the upper surface of the endless belt 16 of the polishing means 10.
