To provide a method and a device for saving power of WLAN voice speech in which power being used by a wireless voice terminal executing voice speech without violating IEEE802.11 standard is reduced by repeating active/dose mode efficiently during voice speech and telephone conversation time is prolonged.

The device for saving the power of WLAN voice speech comprises an access point for setting and transmitting bits of a beacon message for an objective station when wireless voice speech is started, registering the station in a PS-polling list when its response is received, assigning a specified time slot and transmitting data during that time slot, and a station for analyzing a beacon message while converting into active mode when it is received from the access point in dose made, calculating the assigned time slot when its own bits are set and performing communication by converting into the active mode during that time slot.
