To provide a score holder and its mechanism adaptable to various type and easy to fabricate, together with its assembly method.

A score holder mechanism 10 is composed of a score bar 20, a score holder body 30 and of a pair of fixtures 40, 40. A pair of ankle parts 21, 21 are put on the score bar 20 at a regular interval. The score holder body 30 is, on its reverse, equipped with a pair of rails 31, 31 extendable lengthwise and a rib for a stopper 32 set between the rails, which similarly extendable lengthwise. This score holder body 30 is easily adapted to various types as it's fabricated by extrusion molding. A fixture 40 is provided with base parts 41 and hooks 44. Base parts 41 are put between the rails 31, 31 on the score holder body 30. Hooks 44 are hung in the ankle parts 21 on the score bar 20.
