Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a fully automatic metal selective recovery device capable of selectively recovering a non-ferrous metal such as a valuable material, especially iron, copper or aluminum in an industrial waste in a high purity.
CONSTITUTION: An industrial waste stored in a stock yard 1 is supplied to a pretreatment device 3 by a feeder device 2. A large-size industrial waste is previously treated, then is sent to a crusher 7 where the waste is crushed in such a manner that its constituent materials are isolated from each other, and a foam molding material is separated by a light-weight material segregation device 8, while the remaining heavy waste and the crushed pieces of a metal mass obtained by a freeze-crushing device 11 are combined together to be sent to a metal selective separation device 9. The metal selective separation device 9 segregates a ferrous metal first using a magnetic segregator 14, and a non-ferrous metal using an eddy current segregator 15. The non-ferrous metal is fed to a color segregator 16 and a specific gravity detection segregator 19 for obtaining a large-size copper or aluminum piece.
