To provide a liquid separation method and a separation device for water-containing wastes for treating a contained liquid content efficiently in the state desired for the fabrication and waste treatment, separating continuously and taking out residues simultaneously.

When the separating face 1 is moved in the upward horizontal direction (an arrow mark A), the wastes 9 are left and pressure is applied to the wastes 9 from below, and a liquid content 92 is squeezed out and the liquid content 92 is recovered in a liquid discharge section 5. When the separating face 1 is moved downward in the horizontal direction (an arrow mark B), the wastes 9 are thrown in the direction of an arrow mark X. The movement of the wastes 9 is continued by applying the vibration to turn the wastes into residues 91 and then dropped from the end of the separating face 1.
