To provide a method and device for stacking products yielded from a shearing process capable of stacking even small items or thin and long items in good alignment.
Products P yielded by a cutting process using a shearing machine 1 and carried out onto a conveyor 5 are photographed from above by a CCD camera 7 under control of a control device 51, and the position of the center of gravity of each item and its direction are analyzed by an image processing device 59. The item of products P is taken up by a takeup device 11 on the basis of the determined position of the center of gravity and the direction and carried to a stacking dolly 45, on which items of products P are stacked in alignment. The takeup device 11 has a suction pad 33 to suck up each item from the conveyor 5, and the item P is lifted by a vertically moving mechanism 31, turned by a rotating mechanism 39 into the specified direction, moved to the dolly 45 by reciprocating mechanism 33, and put on stack in the specified position of the dolly 45 in the specified facing by the vertically moving mechanism 31.
