Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exterminate pathogenic insects and others simply by generating cavitation bubbles by emitting ultrasonic waves to drinking water to exterminate pathogens.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonic apparatus having an ultrasonic sender 2 is disposed on the side of the passage 1 of city water pipe water, and part of the passage is irradiated with ultrasonic waves. The frequencies of the ultrasonic waves are made to generate ultrasonic wave surfaces 8 as indicated by a figure in part of the passage 1. Drinking water introduced from an introduction passage 4 is sterilized by being irradiated with ultrasonic waves while passing through an ultrasonic wave irradiation area 3 and discharged from a discharge passage 5 to be supplied for drinking. In this case, the ultrasonic wave surfaces 8 interfere with each other to generate sound pressure stripes, and bacteria passing through this part are allowed to be output without being broken. Therefore, the passage 1 is formed in the shape of a crank, the wide part of a crank part is made to be an irradiation area, and if ultrasonic waves are emitted perpendicularly to a water flow, a bacteria breaking effect can be improved further.
