To drastically reduce the growth of legionella bacteria in a bathtub of a circulation and filtration type.
In a system of returning drain water from the bathtub to the bathtub 1 again after filtering the drain water with a filter 7, a clarification device 15 is arranged at an output side position of the filter 7. In the clarification device 15, a steam nozzle 24 for injecting steam and an ozone injection nozzle 25 for injecting ozone are provided. Then, by the injection of steam and that of ozone, inside of the system is sterilized and purified. The clarification device 15 is also provided with a heating steam nozzle 29 for sterilizing circulation water in the system with heat by heating the water to ≥65°C. In the case of this heat sterilization operation, the circulation water is circulated through a bypass piping 23 for bypassing the bathtub 1.
