Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further effective method for attaining further long life of a tool or further short cycle time during deformation.
SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for stretching a tube (10) by means of a drawing ring (13) wherein when the tube (10) is stretched tensile force is added to the tube portion (22) which has passed the effective cross section of the drawing ring and has been stretched, pressure is added to the tube blank portion (11) which has not yet passed the effective cross section of the drawing ring and the tensile force is added to the tube by a mandrel (16) which is positioned and connected to the front end of the tube by a shape fitting or force method.
