PURPOSE: To control molten metal supplying quantity into an injection sleeve in high precision, to improve the yield of material and to reduce manufacturing cost of a casting product.
CONSTITUTION: By pressurizing in a molten metal pressurizing chamber 6, the molten metal 20 is supplied into the injection sleeve 19 through a molten metal supplying tube 16. In this case, pressure in the molten metal pressurizing chamber 6 is detected with a pressure indicating and adjusting meter and, when this pressure becomes to a prescribed setting value, pressurization in the molten metal pressurizing chamber is stopped and also, by progressing a plunger tip 18, the injection is started. By this method, as the molten metal supplying quantity can be controlled by using the pressure related to static pressure of molten metal supplied in the injection sleeve 19 as a factor, precision of the molten metal supplying quantity can be improved.
