To provide a method for inspecting a game machine with high safety which does not require a complicated inspection.
An ID is stored in a ROM 42 storing a control program to control the game form (game operation) of the game machine 10, the ROM 42 is attached to a main baseboard and the main baseboard is attached to a game machine main body. The ID, a main baseboard number and a main body production number are previously inputted and preserved in the database 62 of a host computer 60. An ID checker 50 obtains the ID in the ROM 42 mounted on the game machine 10 via a first communication means T1. The main baseboard number and the main body production number of the game machine 10 are read by eyes and inputted to the ID checker 50. The ID checker 50 collates the data with the ID, the main baseboard number and the main body production number which are obtained from the database 62 of the host computer 60 via a second communication means T2 and checks whether the combination is the normal one or not. The obtained data is initialized immediately after the collation.
