Abstract:
To provide the method and device for resource management which can easily share resource information in an output device and manages the relation between resources for information controllers and resources for output devices on the respective information controllers in environment wherein multiple users share the output devices.
A server 2 which manages resources used by printers 2 and 3 has a 1st storage means storing resources, a 2nd storage means which stores relation information between the resources for the printers and resources for personal computers 5 to 7, and a 3rde storage means which stores relation information between the printers 3 and 4 and the resources for the printers.
