Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for taking up an individual article wherein a heavy package is taken up quickly with no damage to a wrapper.
CONSTITUTION: A taking-up device for taking up an arbitrary package, especially a very heavy package comprises a taking-up table 1 and a taking-up auxiliary device 6. The taking-up table 1 comprises a roller-like taking-up mechanism 5 at its front side, which mechanism acts on the end surface of package to take up a package 12. In addition, the taking-up auxiliary device 6 acts at the end part opposite to the end surface position, applying a backward horizontal force B on the upper surface of the package. Thus, a torque for reinforcing taking-up of the package is generated for easy taking-up of the package.
