PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for opening/closing a valve.SOLUTION: A method for opening/closing a valve includes the steps of: holding an electric power tool in a person's arm; rotating an input part 3 by rotating an output part 2 of the electric power tool; transmitting a rotational force of the input part 3 to a reduction gear 4; rotating a drive part 6 by rotation of the reduction gear 4; and opening/closing the valve by rotating a part-to-be-operated 5 of the valve by rotation of the drive part 6.
