Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the best designing of an engagement forming tool by dipping the engagement forming tool made of a transparent material in liquid which has the same refractive index with a forming tool in a transparent container and visualizing the deformation behavior of a material in engagement formation into an image by a photographing device. CONSTITUTION:The engagement formation part has its shaft end part pivoted rotatably and is coupled with a driving device outside the transparent container 3 through a seal member so as to drive and rotate the engagement forming tool 1. Further, the container 3 is filled with the solution 2 which has the same refractive index with the forming tool 1. Then an image of the deformation behavior of the formed material 4 which is passed through the engagement part of the forming tool 1 in formation is picked up and visualized by an outside observing means 6 through the forming tool 1 and solution 2 having the same refractive index, and a display device 7 is observed to grasp the deformation behavior of the formed material 4 continuously. Consequently, the best designing of the forming tool 1 is performed efficiently.
